WHAT TO EXPECT

Here's what you can expect to find when you visit us on a Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Traditional Worship

UCC's traditional worship services provide opportunities for believers to participate in Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. Our music is drawn primarily from the great hymns of our faith and is accompanied by piano, organ and wind instruments. Other weekly worship expressions include Scripture reading, prayer, celebration of the Lord's Supper, giving of tithes and offerings, and solid Biblical preaching.  The services are located in our sanctuary on the upper level. Sermons are the same in both the traditional and contemporary services, with the preaching minister speaking at all 5 services each week.

Traditional worship is held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Contemporary Worship

Our contemporary worship services offer passionate and honest praise and worship music -- from contemporary songs to fresh takes on classic hymns -- led by our worship band with guitars, piano, drums, and often an orchestra.  The worship service also includes prayer, communion, offering and relevant teaching grounded firmly in the Bible.  All contemporary worship services are located in our Family Life Center on the lower level. Sermons are the same in both the contemporary and traditional services, with the preaching minister speaking at all 5 services each week.

Contemporary worship is held on Saturday nights at 5 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.

Adult Bible Study

We have two forms of Bible study for adults: traditional Sunday school classes held on Sunday mornings, and small groups that meet throughout the week at various locations. Sunday morning classes are at 9:45 and 11:15 a.m.

Details of the Sunday school classes offered can be found here.

Details related to small groups available can be found here.

Children

Children's age-appropriate classes are held on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Saturday night offers children's programming through preschool at 5 p.m., and Sunday school classes are offered at 9:45 (through 4th grade) and 11:15 a.m. (through 12th grade).

We provide both youth and college ministries, each with a wide variety of events, activities and small groups. A college Sunday school class meets at 9:45 a.m. Middle school and high school Sunday school classes meet at 11:15 a.m.
