To those among us who serve in our military, I want to give a personal thanks. As an American, I value your willingness to serve through both the mundane and the extraordinary to maintain our peace, and protect those who are without protection. As a Christian, I just want to note that we are most like Christ when we serve at the cost of ourselves, for the benefit of others. In many unique ways, you have the reality of serving in a manner that looks more like Jesus than most of us will ever experience. Thank you for taking faith, strength, and excellence into your work for the sake of all of us who live in this country, and around the world.

About Our Military Ministry
The Military Ministry at University Christian Church serves our congregation and the military community through programs that support families on the home front and soldiers serving abroad. The Military Ministry is not a separate unit of the church, but an extension of our church family. Because the support military families require is unique, this ministry is necessary to assure their needs are met. Our goal is to strengthen families with the support of this ministry and guide them with connections to other ministries within the church.
The Military Ministry is meant to serve our military community, but anyone is welcome to serve. We are not a "club," and you do not need to be associated with the military to be a member of our team. We welcome anyone who has a passion to serve our soldiers, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
