WINGS stands for Women In Need of God's Strength, taken from Isaiah 40:31 -- "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

Fall 2010 beginning September 9: Join us for a 13-week Bible study on prayer. The study is "Live a Praying Life, " by Jennifer Dean and it will address questions concerning prayer like, "If God is sovereign, why should I pray?" "What part do faith, obedience, and forgiveness play in prayer?" Two sessions will be offered: Morning, 9-11 a.m. and evening, 7-9 p.m. Study books may be pre-ordered (suggested) and are available for a free will donation.   • February 26-27, 2010
  • K-State Student Union
  • This year’s event will be a fun and inspirational break from the winter months."Amazing Girlfriends" provides an exciting opportunity for women of all ages to explore what kind of relationships God is calling them to be in, what kind of a friend they are to others, and how they can influence the people around them. Lisa Jernigan and Patty Wyatt, co-founders of Girlfriends Unlimited, will be the keynote speakers and MCC Alumni Director, Genae Denver will be the worship leader. Fourteen practical seminars will also be offered throughout the weekend and everyone will have the opportunity to attend four.
